A couple of weeks ago, we returned to the paddock with the DJI Agras T50—this time applying insecticide to a newly germinated pasture for a separate client in Central West NSW.

The goal was to protect early growth from pest pressure during those vulnerable first stages. With soft ground conditions and delicate new pasture, drone application was the ideal solution—no soil compaction, no wheel tracks, just accurate coverage across the paddock.

As always, the T50 performed exceptionally, using a pre-planned flight path to deliver consistent application while navigating the terrain with ease.

About the Operation

This job was completed using the DJI Agras T50, equipped for high-volume insecticide application with precise flow control and terrain-following sensors. The drone was pre-mapped to ensure efficient coverage and applied the product at a calibrated rate specific to the client’s agronomic needs.

All applications were carried out by a licensed and insured operator, fully compliant with Australian spray regulations and safety standards.
